'Nishan' - Noori (a Pakistani rock band)

  1. Technically, it is flawless. Visually, it is appealing. As for originality, this very well could have been a Kenny Logins song performed by Steve Perry. As for the language and enunciation, I'd say this - these cats didn't grow up in Karachi or Lahore, they did perhaps Islamabad or even Jackson Heights in Queens, NY, listening to their parents Logins and Messina on vinyl. I like the sound and the potential behind it.

I prefer Alo Andey ... and the cacophony of the Indian news media reaction to it, even more.

  2. Oho, who told you that this is the accent in Islamabad? Go to Karachi and Lahore and listen to the pop-poops, and their biraadar. It is all western elite talk, no doubt.

Next you'll say Jamaal Naqsh's nudes look like Modigliani's and maybe he even saw the wimmin nekkid...

Rock is anyway not an indigenous genre, so...

Yup, Aloo Andey is good (why do you spell it as alo...you Spanish or what? Or where did you get that 'accent' from?)

For those who want to know what this is about, here goes:
